Customer Care Representative

Job Summary
The Customer Care Representative takes customer calls and responds to live chats in a high-volume Call Center. Duties include helping customers find the right parts, placing orders, answering questions, and resolving errors with orders. This position requires superb communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills. The Customer Care Representative reports to the Call Center Manager.

Essential Duties

  • Answer sales and customer service calls
  • Respond to live chats
  • Help customers find the parts they're looking for
  • Answer customers' questions and explain company policies
  • Place orders for customers
  • Identify and resolve errors with orders
  • Process order returns
  • Track status of orders

Nonessential Duties

  • Work in camera room to weigh, measure, and photograph parts
  • Assist customers in person at retail counter
  • Work on miscellaneous data entry projects

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least one year of experience in a call center or in a customer service position
  • Previous appliance, lawn equipment, HVAC equipment, or power tool sales experience preferred
  • Strong computer and typing skills
